Head of Department (Curriculum) - Pindi Pindi State School

The role fosters positive relationships with students, staff, and stakeholders, facilitates collaborative planning focused on Version 9 of the Australian Curriculum, and supports staff through coaching and capability building, with a strong focus on improving reading outcomes, while contributing to a motivated leadership team.

This position is a Head of Department (Curriculum) to support a cluster of small schools. The host school is Coningsby State School, with other schools including Bloomsbury State School, Pindi Pindi State School, Calen District State College, Hampden State School, Seaforth State School, and Farleigh State School.

Your Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead the curriculum across schools to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
  • Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
  • Set high standards for student and staff performance.
  • Actively participate in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development.
  • Form partnerships with students, parents, and colleagues across schools and clusters.
