The successful applicant will join the school's leadership team, working alongside the Principal, Deputy Principal, Head of Curriculum, and Business Manager to drive the school's vision and priorities forward.
- As the permanent Head of Special Education Services (HOSES), you will lead the development and implementation of inclusive practices, ensuring every student achieves their potential.
- Your role will be pivotal in fostering a culture of high expectations and collaboration, supporting staff to deliver quality teaching and learning experiences for students with diverse needs.
Responsibilities include
- Assist the School Leadership Team to lead the school community to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
- Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
- Set high standards for student and staff performance.
- Understand the legislation and policies that impact on schooling especially in relation to students and staff within the school.
- Manage the human, financial, facilities and curriculum resources to achieve school goals.
The successful candidate will have
- Proven experience in leading and managing inclusive education practices and teams.
- Strong leadership, change management, and communication skills.
- Expertise in designing and delivering tailored learning plans to meet diverse student needs.
- A commitment to fostering student engagement, outcomes, and wellbeing.
