Alligator Creek State School is seeking a strategic and capable Principal (Level 4) to lead whole-school improvement and sustain high expectations for student learning and wellbeing.

In this permanent role, you will guide a committed staff team to strengthen teaching practice, build professional capability and drive consistent improvement in student outcomes.

Working closely with families and the local community, you will foster a positive, inclusive culture where every student is supported to succeed.

About the School

Alligator Creek State School is a Prep to Year 6 primary school located south of Mackay with an enrolment of around 300 students. The school is known for its strong community connections and collaborative staff culture.

About the Role

As the Principal, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Drive a shared vision that achieves strong student outcomes.
  • Provide ethical, strategic leadership across the school.
  • Embed inclusive, socially just practices.
  • Set and maintain high standards for students and staff.
  • Build partnerships with parents, agencies, and the community.
  • Lead professional growth and oversee school operations.
