Farleigh State School is seeking a dedicated and supportive Teacher Aide to join our team.

We're seeking an enthusiastic team player with a proactive approach to support classroom activities, student welfare and administrative tasks, with training provided as needed.

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in students learning and contribute to a positive, dynamic classroom environment.

This position is being offered in a Permanent Part-Time capacity (0.47FTE), 36 hours per fortnight.

Who We Are:

Farleigh State School is a quiet, rural co-educational school situated eight minutes north of Mount Pleasant Shopping Centre. We celebrated our centenary of the schools opening in 2009. 

We are committed to providing learning programs that cater for the diversity of students, from those in need of learning support to the gifted and talented.

Our team efforts to achieve this are supported by a dedicated team of staff members who interact closely with the students and their families.

Submit Your Application:

  • To facilitate and coordinate breakfast club daily
  • Foster a supportive and interactive environment while actively contributing to the community and building strong relationships
  • Assisting teaching staff in preparation and adaption of learning materials to meet individual needs
  • Supporting targeted, age appropriate, literacy and numeracy work with individuals or groups
  • Assisting in the supervision of education activities, under the direction of a teacher
  • Communicating effectively and displaying high level of interpersonal skills to function as effective team member
  • Displaying respect and empathy for students with high level needs
  • Clerical assistance and resourcing duties including but not limited to; duplicating/photocopying teaching materials/laminating
  • Provide first aide and support for medical needs as required, following school protocols
  • Demonstrate punctuality, reliability and initiative to students and their families
  • Assisting with playground duties
