Guidance Officer - Moura State School (Cluster)

Provide high-quality guidance and counselling services across a diverse cluster of schools as Guidance Officer based at Moura State School in a temporary opportunity from 27 July to 11 December 2026.

This role services Moura State School (0.40 FTE), Moura State High School (0.40 FTE) and Theodore State School (0.20 FTE), and provides support to additional small schools upon request.

Working across primary and secondary settings, you will collaborate with school leaders, staff, students and families to support student learning, engagement and wellbeing.

Your opportunity

Based at Moura State School, this cluster role supports schools across the Moura and Theodore communities in Central Queensland. The position offers the opportunity to work with students across Prep to Year 12 and, when required, provide services to additional small schools within the cluster.    Teacher housing is available for the successful applicant.

About the Role

As Guidance Officer, you will deliver guidance and counselling services that support the educational, personal and social development of students across the cluster.

Working collaboratively with school leaders, staff, families and external agencies, you will provide advice, assessment and intervention to support positive student outcomes across a range of educational settings.
