We are seeking a passionate, reliable and enthusiastic Teacher Aide to join our Industrial Technology and Design (ITD) Department. This role supports teachers in delivering practical woodworking and metalworking lessons while assisting students in a safe and engaging learning environment.

This position is being offered in a Temporary Part-Time capacity (0.78FTE), 60 hours per fortnight

About the Role:

  • Contribute to the provision of a quality educational service by assisting and supporting teachers with the preparation and enhancement of learning materials and associated activities.
  • This role is in our ITD Department.  Basic practical woodworking/metalworking skills are a requirement of this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Support teachers in practical classroom activities and student learning.
  • Assist with the preparation, maintenance and storage of tools, equipment and materials.
  • Help supervise students during practical woodworking and metalworking activities.
  • Work with individual students and small groups to support learning.
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop environment.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, classroom preparation and school activities as required.
