Biloela State High School is seeking a Head of Special education Services (HOSES) for a temporary full-time position until 18 September 2026, unless otherwise determined. In the key leadership role, you will work closely with the Principal, teachers, families, and external agencies to ensure students receive high-quality, evidence informed support that enables them to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

About the Role:
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Lead and coordinate inclusive education programs by managing the Special Education and/or Early Childhood Development Program, providing expert advice, and ensuring effective adjustments and targeted interventions for students with disability.
- Build staff capability and collaborative practice by supporting teachers and school staff with specialist advice, professional learning, case management, and access to departmental and external services to improve student outcomes.
- Drive strategic planning and accountability by contributing to school leadership and decision-making, implementing school-wide systems, monitoring student data, and ensuring compliance with the Nationally Consistent Collection of Data (NCCD).
- Strengthen partnerships and manage resources by working collaboratively with families, government agencies, and community organisations, while effectively managing human, financial, facilities, and curriculum resources to achieve inclusive education goals.
