Your opportunity:

  • Provide strategic and operational leadership in the management of the school's financial, human, and physical resources.
  • Collaborate with the Principal to develop and implement the school's strategic and operational plans.
  • Oversee the preparation, monitoring, and reporting of the school's budget to ensure financial sustainability and compliance with departmental requirements.
  • Manage the school's facilities, assets, and resources to ensure they are maintained and utilised effectively.
  • Supervise and support administrative and support staff to ensure the smooth operation of the school's day-to-day activities.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, policies, and procedures, including workplace health and safety requirements.
  • Liaise with external stakeholders, including contractors, suppliers, and community organisations, to support the school's operational needs.
  • Lead and manage specific projects or initiatives as delegated by the Principal.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications in business, finance, or a related field would be a plus but not essential (e.g., Bachelor of Business, Accounting, or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in business or operational management, preferably within an educational or public sector environment.
  • Proficiency in financial management systems and office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, OneSchool, or similar).
  • A current Working with Children Check (Blue Card) or the ability to obtain one.
  • A commitment to upholding the values and ethos of the school.
