As the Warehouse Manager, you will co-ordinate and oversee the operation of a Warehouse and Distribution facility to provide effective and efficient material supply support to clients by receiving, storing, maintaining and issuing an appropriate range of inventory within a cost effective and quality framework.
What you'll do
- Develop and direct programs and strategies to ensure Supply Services (WM) capacity to deliver cost effective and innovative warehousing and distribution support to clients.
- Formulate and co-ordinate operational planning of the warehousing and distribution functions.
- Oversee the effective operation and co-ordination of workflow of receipt, storage, picking, packing, dispatch and distribution of goods.
- Run reports and search information on the Materials Management information system.
- Contribute to the development of departmental budgets ensuring financial decisions are congruent with organisational goals.
- Develop a work environment that encourages and promotes feedback and reporting from staff to ensure continuous improvement to business goals
- Undertake regular reporting against goals and objectives in regard key targets, resource utilisation, and processing deadlines particularly for receipts for non-stock products.
