The Test Lead will lead and mentor a team of test specialists and provide timely and quality reporting metrics for releases across the workforce management, payroll and S/4HANA solutions.

What you'll do
- Support the Manager, Testing in leading a team of testing professionals in the completion of testing activities by monitoring operational team resources, risk, deadlines and outcomes.
- Ensure availability and robustness of processes, systems and supporting applications/ testing tools.
- Support the Manager, Testing in providing expert and strategic advice on the system, integration and regression testing processes for workforce management, payroll and S/4HANA solutions.
- Provide application and process expertise to staff and management to ensure that the workforce management, payroll and S/4HANA solutions test plans are aligned to documented requirements and effectively address integration impacts.
- Manage the requirements traceability for releases under test.
- Assist and mentor other teams and external stakeholders as required to manage the timely preparation for testing, issue and defect resolution to enable test execution deadlines to be met to ensure timely release of functionality for the benefit of Queensland Health.
- Monitor test execution progress and results and report to management and external stakeholders appropriately.
- Contribute to effective, client focussed teamwork by developing an understanding of the roles and duties of team members within the team and working collaboratively to achieve outcomes with a commitment to quality and customer service.
- Liaise, consult and negotiate effectively with team members, other project teams, stakeholders and client groups to develop and maintain effective working relationships and the integrity of the overall integrated solution.
- Work closely with the other Test Leads to ensure that the integrated test environments are kept in sync from a data perspective.
- There may be a requirement to work out of hours, weekends and public holidays to ensure the successful delivery of the Queensland Health enterprise solutions.
About you
We are searching for someone who:
- Well-developed leadership and management skills to build and sustain a customer-focussed culture in a large, complex and diverse environment.
- Expert ability in planning of testing activities within a large, complex IM/ICT program/project(s).
- Strong background in the all phases of testing, including plans, resources, timescales, test deliverables and auditability.
- Proven experience in the implementation of quality testing methods and frameworks to ensure the integrity of testing.
- Expert ability in undertaking relevant testing techniques and methods and tools for large scale complex organisations.
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills including ability to initiate relationships and influence key stakeholders to ensure the delivery of required IM/ICT outcomes.
- High level analytical, conceptual and problem solving skills with a proven record in the assessment and evaluation of testing requirements.
- Demonstrated experience working in an agile environment with associated personal attributes of communication, collaboration, adaptability and critical analysis.
