The Program Officers within the IWFM Program Management Office provide support across key areas of the program, including committee administration (secretariat services), document control/management, quality assurance activities, document control processes, and project coordination. The Program Officer tracks progress, manages records, supports governance activities, and ensure documents meet quality standards to support successful program delivery.

As a Program Officer, you will support key functions across the PMO lifecycle – from secretariat and governance coordination to document control and quality assurance. You will contribute to the efficient operation of our program activities, help maintain accurate records and assist in the delivery of one of Queensland Health's most significant transformation initiatives.

Your Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and report on work package activities against agreed criteria to support and coordinate the delivery of specialised and/or small work packages involving IM/ICT, ensuring solutions delivered are responsive to customer needs and sustainable in an enterprise environment.
- Monitor resources and expenditure within the agreed work package budgets against the project forecasts.
- Demonstrated expertise in secretariat and/or document controller activities with the ability to support the skill development of less experienced team members.
Role fit:
- Experience in an IM/ICT project environment, including risk management, reporting and budgeting, and an ability to coordinate the delivery of work packages.
- Knowledge of appropriate project management methodologies (preferably PRINCE2), and an ability to provide advice on the use of appropriate project management techniques, methodologies and tools.
- Experience in, or the ability to assist with the compilation of program/project information, maintenance of program/project files and the preparation and presentation of management reports. (SFIA Skill: PROF: Level 2)
