Senior Business Process Analyst

The purpose of this role is to contribute to the delivery of a customer focused payroll service by undertaking the analysis, design, review and documentation of complex business processes, to provide innovative and effective solutions to improve the efficiency, effectiveness and accuracy of payroll outcomes. You will be responsible for leading the analysis of business and system processes with key stakeholders to review, manage and identify issues, risks and impacts from process, system and legislative changes and prepare process maps and documentation to ensure business processes are consistent across the relevant business areas.

Your Key responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate the consultation with key stakeholders to analyse existing business processes, workflows and procedures. Coordinate the design and development of formal business process maps using PRIME BPM.
- Lead the preparation and development of recommendations to senior leadership on improvement opportunities across statewide payroll processes.
- Using critical thinking and problem-solving skills identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks and areas for improvement in service delivery and payroll outcomes in a complex transactional environment.
Role fit:
- Demonstrated analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills and a proven ability to work in a team environment, developing effective working relationships with team members.
- Demonstrated experience in understanding the impact of system and business process change to targeted stakeholder groups and the associated development of standard business process change activities to accommodate the implementation.
- Demonstrated ability to undertake current and future state analysis of complex payroll business processes within an integrated solution, providing recommendations for improvements to a diverse range of clients.
