Clinical Engagement Officer

The Clinical Engagement Officer supports the Secretariat function with Committee business, and will assist in determining the appropriate pathway/s to establish CRGs based on the product segmentation within the sourcing activity. The role engages with Queensland Clinical Networks (QCNs) and other specialist and generalist networks to convene the relevant CRGs. The role is considered a subject matter expert for clinical engagement, and acts as a conduit between SPB and the networks for the development of system procurement and supply arrangements.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice and guidance to SPB and its stakeholders on the application of the clinical engagement model.
  • Provide support to the Committee Secretariat in conducting Committee business.
  • Provide administrative support in preparing and maintaining records of all Committee activities including meeting schedules, agendas and accurate minutes including decisions.

  • Demonstrates an understanding of the key drivers for all stakeholders, internal and external, and works to provide best value solutions.
  • Able to interpret customer needs and provide quality customer service.
  • Builds and sustains a network of key contacts. Regularly collaborates with stakeholders to develop relationships and partnerships to drive outcomes.
