As the Assistant Governance Officer you will support and enhance corporate systems' maintenance and related projects, including the Department's risk management platform, action registers, risk, and issues registers. You will coordinate committee and working group logistics including forward program planning, agenda preparation, action registers, dissemination of papers, briefing notes, minutes, and meeting arrangements. Additionally, you will maintain and enhance administrative systems, processes and procedures, including procurement and records management, in accordance with departmental processes and guidelines.

Role fit:

  • Proficient in project management principles and practices.
  • Ability to use Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and web-based tools (PowerBI, MS Teams suite, Planner).
  • Ability to initiate and make recommendations to incrementally improve work being carried out.
