As a Principal Finance Officer - Operating, you will accurately maintain the Operating Statement of Queensland Health in Queensland Treasury's whole of Government financial system (TRIDATA), across the forward estimates period, whilst providing advice regarding total revenue available and its source of origin. You will maintain and develop processes that ensure the alignment of Queensland Health's operating position to the whole of government financial system (TRIDATA). Additionally, you will provide advice to management based on interpretation of issues in relation to Queensland Health's operating performance.
Role fit:
- Demonstrated knowledge of accounting standards, legislation, contemporary financial management practices and policies, with experience in providing advice to management and other stakeholders and in the development of policies, procedures, and reports.
- Demonstrated experience with continuous improvement programs and initiatives in the areas of financial management and demonstrated ability to work within and contribute significantly towards successful teams.
- Demonstrated experience in the use and development of contemporary financial management information technology, together with experience in the research, review, interpretation, and analysis of information.
