Campus Support Services are looking for a Coordinator Campus Operations to join their team. In this role you will co-ordinate the day-to-day delivery of support services for Coronial & Public Health Sciences campus located at Coopers Plains. This includes but is not limited to: cleaning services, waste management, grounds and garden maintenance, security services and CCTV operations.

What you'll do
- Ensure work practices align with Queensland Health, Legislative Compliance Management Framework and the Financial Management Practice Manual.
- Monitor service delivery by suppliers and/or licensed organisations to ensure compliance with contracts for campus support services. Including scheduled, periodic reporting on contract performance; delivery of KPI targets and the provision of cost-effective processes and strategies to improve delivery of services.
- Knowledge of or the ability to acquire knowledge of security functions within government, including identification Card Web System, electronic Security access and Door key control.
- Prepare accurate general and confidential correspondence such as briefs, business cases, reports, and training materials, as well as providing assistance to staff, visitors and contractors as necessary.
About you
We are searching for someone who has:
- Demonstrated working knowledge and an understanding of relevant legislation, standards, policies, acts and regulations and how they are applied within government.
- Demonstrated experience in an operational environment, including a high-level understanding of security, grounds maintenance, waste management, cleaning services and emergency operations.
- High level communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels and to handle sensitive issues sympathetically and effectively.
- Understanding of contract management in relation to facilities, including security, grounds, waste etc. amongst others.
- High level organisational skills with a demonstrated ability to manage competing demands and deadlines in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Capacity to provide a high level of client service, including the ability to manage customer feedback in a professional manner.
