Support the Principal Project Manager with the management of project risks and issues by identifying , documenting and ongoing management of risks and issues.
Key competencies (role specific criteria)
You will be assessed on your ability to demonstrate the following:
- Knowledge and experience in the use of project management tools and methodologies (preferably PRINCE 2) and the ability to provide advice on the use of appropriate project management techniques and methodologies.
- Proven effective consultation, facilitation, communication skills for use in a complex program/ project environment
- Demonstrated knowledge of project management methodologies
- Demonstrated experience in, or the ability to rapidly acquire the knowledge, to support infrastructure projects throughout the construction lifecycle within an approved project management methodology, including preparing, maintaining, and disseminating project documentation and other relevant information.
- Knowledge of procurement processes, FF&E or healthcare facility commissioning
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure to achieve deadlines despite competing priorities
- Understanding of capital design and delivery processes or the ability to rapidly acquire the knowledge
Qualifications, registrations and other requirements
- Whilst not mandatory a relevant qualification (e.g. PRINCE 2) would be highly regarded
- Knowledge of laboratory work processes or relevant healthcare experience will be highly regarded.
- You may be required to travel to different locations depending on project and team requirements
- Please detail any visa conditions you may have if you are not a permanent resident of Australia.
