The Supply Chain Branch are looking for an Inventory Manager to join their Central Pharmacy team. As the Inventory Manager you will be responsible for overseeing and optimising all inventory management activities within the warehouse and distribution centre. This role ensures accurate stock control, efficient inventory flow, and alignment with supply chain and distribution requirements.

What you'll do
- Provide leadership and facilitate collaboration to support the DC Manager in the effective day to day operational performance of the Central Pharmacy Distribution Centre.
- Develop a working relationship with and have sound working knowledge of all team activities within the Distribution Centre including goods receipting, goods issued via pick and pack, and transport.
- Assist in directing, controlling and coordinating all elements of Central Pharmacy operations and to ensure that all key performance targets are met consistently.
- Ensure that all actions and directives support full compliance with Chain of Responsibility (CoR), Traffic Management and all related Workplace Health and Safety legislation to ensure Central Pharmacy operates with zero harm to staff.
- Provide oversight of the effective day to day activities regarding inventory control within Central Pharmacy, directing, controlling and coordinating all elements of inventory management operations.
About you
We are searching for someone who has the:
- Knowledge of, or the ability to acquire knowledge of, practices relevant to the warehousing, inventory controls and distribution functions.
- Ability to acquire the knowledge and skills to operate motor vehicles and materials handling equipment.
- Ability to work as part of a team and adapt to changing work environments.
- Ability to communicate and liaise effectively with clients and staff.
