The Supply Chain Branch are looking for a Business Support Officer to join their team. In this role you will provide effective business administrative services by supporting the Manufacturing and Quality Control Lab teams within Central Pharmacy’s Manufacturing Unit with the provision of administration, human resource, finance, facility and inventory management services.

What you'll do
- Provide high-quality administrative and operational support to Central Pharmacy's Manufacturing Unit.
- Prioritise and coordinate daily administrative tasks, including email management, and internal communications between the Manufacturing and Quality Control teams to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Use a wide range of standard Queensland Health operating systems to assist in the process of financial, human resource, travel and procurement requirements.
- Prepare and maintain team documentation, including process guides, checklists, training records, and version-controlled documents.
- Provide research and project assistance, including the preparation of reports as required by senior management.
About you
We are searching for someone who has:
- Demonstrated high-level written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise professionally and confidentially with stakeholders at all levels, exercising tact, discretion, and ethical conduct.
- Proven experience in providing high-quality administrative support, with sound knowledge of departmental financial, human resource, and reporting processes, and the ability to extract, analyse and present data to support decision-making.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment, showing initiative, sound judgement, and the capacity to manage changing priorities and meet deadlines effectively.
- Ability to produce accurate and valid work outputs aligned with team objectives, while contributing to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and service delivery.
- Sound knowledge of workplace health and safety, equal employment opportunity and anti-discrimination principles, with the ability to provide guidance and support within a team-based environment.
