What's involved – Provide clinical skills, support and education to patients/clients and nursing staff within the Unit to ensure the provision of best practice and quality patient care.

 The Nurse Unit manager is a senior level clinical manager, accountable at an advanced practice level for the coordination of clinical practice, nursing leadership and the provision of human and material resources within Longreach Hospital. The Nurse Unit manager provides leadership and direction to other nursing staff and is responsible for implementing plans related to safe, consumer focused clinical care, professional development of staff and financial accountability.

About Central West Hospital and Health Service - We are responsible for the delivery of healthcare services to communities across a vast region to 20.6 per cent of Queensland. As a rural and remote hospital and health service, Central West HHS provides a range of community, primary and hospital-based services and has formed strong partnerships with other service providers to collectively support the holistic care to the people of the Central West.
