What's involved – The Clinical Nurse (Perioperative) provides expert clinical care for consumers in the perioperative context, including gastrointestinal endoscopy services and demonstrates expert clinical knowledge providing support, leadership and direction to Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and other personnel within the perioperative environment of Longreach Hospital, Central West Health.
You will also be responsible for the provision of nursing care that meets the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) Competency Standards, Australian College of Operating Room Nurses (ACORN) Standards, AS 5369:2023 Reprocessing of reusable medical devices and other devices in health and non-health related facilities.
