What your day will look like….
In this role, you will start by connecting with the women and families you support, fostering relationships built on trust and understanding. As you assess individual needs, you'll coordinate comprehensive care plans that reflect evidence-based practices while navigating the complexities of midwifery. Collaboration will be key as you engage with fellow midwives, healthcare professionals, and students, mentoring them while ensuring everyone is aligned towards the common goal of exceptional maternal and infant health outcomes. Throughout your day, you'll embody Darling Downs Health values, actively participating in quality improvement initiatives and embracing opportunities for professional development and reflection. With each interaction, you'll not only provide care but also cultivate a positive practice environment, reinforcing your role as a leader and advocate in midwifery.
