What your day will look like….
Your day will be a meaningful blend of direct patient care, collaborative case discussions, and specialist input across medical oncology streams, with a particular focus on neuro-oncology. You'll support patients through diagnosis and treatment, consult with fellow clinicians, and lead the way in integrating clinical trials into patient care. Whether coordinating multidisciplinary meetings, mentoring junior staff, or providing outreach services to regional centres like Kingaroy, Warwick, or Dalby, your role will be dynamic and deeply rewarding. You'll also have the opportunity to shape the future of oncology through research and teaching, with access to academic resources and affiliations through the University of Queensland.
You will receive a competitive remuneration package value from $110,550 (L18) up to $138,105 (L27) comprising salary rates between $100.78 (L18) and $127.77 p.h. (L27), motor vehicle allowance, professional development allowance, professional development leave 3.6 weeks p.a., regional attraction allowance, professional indemnity cover and private practice arrangements. Superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) will be applied additionally to the total remuneration value.
