Delivery Services Branch are seeking a highly skilled and experienced PMO Manager to lead and manage a Delivery Support Office within the Delivery Services Branch, eHealth Queensland. Responsibilities of this role include leading and managing a wide range of project management support processes particularly performance reporting, risk management, financial management as well as ensuring consistency of practice aligned with established delivery portfolio, program, and project frameworks.

The Role:

If so, this is your opportunity to work collaboratively with the broader Delivery Support Services team, and program and project stakeholders across the Delivery Services Branch, and be responsible for consistency of practice.

This role will:

  • Oversee and manage the provision of Program Office function and services to support the delivery of large scale, complex IM/ICT programs and projects in line with mandated Queensland Government Enterprise Architecture (QGEA), particularly Portfolio, Program, Project Management and Assurance policy and ICT-as-a-Service policy.
  • Ensure the consistent application of the eHealth Queensland Project Delivery Framework, processes, and tools particularly risk and change control management to ensure customer-driven outcomes and benefits are delivered.
  • Quality review highlight reports, exception reports and change requests in accordance to established frameworks.
  • Initiate, influence and manage relationships with, and between, internal and external stakeholders, facilitating effective communication through lessons learned, feedback mechanisms and management of expectations.
  • Quality assure program and project information particularly progress reports against agreed strategy objectives

About Delivery Support Services

Within the Delivery Services Branch, Delivery Support Services supports the successful management and delivery of eHealth Queensland's digital, ICT and ICT-enabled assets and services aligned to the Department of Health's strategic objectives and eHealth Investment Strategy priorities. It drives delivery performance through pragmatic program and project management advice and mechanisms that enables consistent delivery of outputs, capabilities, outcomes and benefits to Queensland Health.

Delivery Support Services support programs and projects to deliver customer expected outcomes on time and within budget.  Our aim is to drive continuous improvement in program and project management practice supporting and enabling delivery teams to be successful.
