Teacher Aide - Kindon State School

Kindon State School is seeking a caring and enthusiastic Kindergarten Teacher Aide to join our close-knit school community. Working 3 days a week (Tuesday to Thursday, 8:30am-2:30pm), you'll support the delivery of quality early learning by assisting with engaging
activities and classroom preparation under the direction of the Principal. This is a wonderful opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the early years of education.
This position is being offered in a Temporary Part-Time capacity (0.47FTE), 36 hours per fortnight.

Step Into Your Next Chapter:
- Supporting the implementation of the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guideline play-based, inclusive, child-centred learning in line with Early Years Learning Framework alignment
- Assisting teachers to plan, resource, and facilitate learning using Play My Way resources.
- Interacting with children to foster holistic development: identity, connectedness, wellbeing, active learning, communication, and smooth transitions
- Preparing and managing learning materials, supervising small-group activities, and aiding with administrative tasks such as photocopying, roll-taking, and resource organisation
- Supporting positive behaviour management and inclusive classroom environments.
- Engaging respectfully with families and the community and maintaining confidentiality and protocol in line with Education Queensland policies

The Perfect Fit:
- Formal qualifications in education support (e.g., Certificate III or IV in Education Support), or currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Early Childhood, with recent experience in a Kindergarten classroom
- Demonstrated understanding and experience planning, observing and reporting using Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guideline
- A current Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
- Excellent communication, teamwork, adaptability, and a growth-focused mindset.
- Respect for individual learning needs, community focus and fostering child-centred partnerships.
