About the Role
Responsibilities include:
- Provide strategic advice on operational and governance matters impacting on public education in Queensland through project management of emerging issues within the department and across government at both the state and national levels.
- Ensure effective coordination and integration of programs, projects and resources and provide strategic advice on operational and governance matters relating to public education and lead project teams and manage projects within time and cost limitations.
- Liaise with staff in various areas of the department, to brief senior officers both orally and in writing, as the occasion demands, on emergent and critical issues that may require sensitive management and/or immediate attention.
- Provide executive support services by preparing and coordinating reports, submissions, briefings, presentations, meeting notes/outcomes and the preparation of speeches, correspondence and responses.
