The centre relies on safe, well-maintained facilities, grounds, and equipment to deliver engaging programs in natural settings.

With a strong focus on sustainability, hands-on learning, and connection to the environment, the centre creates meaningful experiences that foster resilience, teamwork, and a deeper understanding of the natural world.

Step Into Your Next Chapter:

  • Maintain buildings, grounds, plant and equipment to a safe and healthy standard
  • Undertake routine and emergency maintenance of machinery, tools, camping, cooking, scientific, audiovisual and gas equipment
  • Assist with camps and programs by setting up and packing down tents and equipment, maintaining firewood supplies, and cleaning and storing camping gear
  • Support outdoor education activities through practical demonstrations under the supervision of qualified teaching staff
  • Conduct grounds maintenance including mowing, brush cutting, weed removal
  • Maintain water systems, grease traps, pumps, and basic plumbing and electrical fixtures
