Murgon State School is seeking a dedicated Teacher Aide for a temporary part-time position (0.63 FTE or 48 hours per fortnight) until 18 September 2026, unless otherwise determined. About the Role:

Responsibilities include, but not limited to;

  • Support teaching and learning by assisting with classroom activities, small group and individual instruction, literacy and numeracy tasks, and supervision under teacher direction.
  • Provide student care and wellbeing support, including first aid, assisting students with special needs, and demonstrating empathy, confidentiality, and sensitivity in all interactions.
  • Assist with school operations and administration, including clerical tasks, record keeping, managing class rolls, handling payments, and preparing teaching materials.
  • Manage and maintain resources, equipment, and learning materials, including stocktaking, preparation, storage, and general care.
  • Contribute to school activities and supervision, including excursions, sporting events, playground and bus duty, while working collaboratively as an effective team member.
