Rockville State School is located 5km north of the Toowoomba CBD in the beautiful Darling Downs region.

We are seeking an educational leader who has the confidence and skills to foster strong leadership in learning, wellbeing and school improvement.

Preferred applicants will be able to lead the school community to develop and commit to a clear educational vision, set high standards for teaching and learning, and foster a positive and inclusive culture.

This is a temporary full-time position until 4 June 2026, unless otherwise determined.

About the School

Our school caters for students from Prep to Year 6 with current enrolment numbers at 213. Our dedicated staff deliver structured and engaging programs that focus on the fundamentals of literacy and numeracy, while also nurturing creativity, curiosity, and critical thinking. 

Our school motto, “A Great Place to Learn" reflects a commitment to creating an inclusive, supportive, and engaging learning environment where every child is encouraged to reach their full potential.
