Toogoolawah State High School is seeking a passionate educator to lead the Year 11 and 12 cohorts in the role of Head of Department - Student Engagement (known locally as Year 11/12 Head of Year).

This role offers the opportunity to inspire students, strengthen connections with families and further extend our culture of high engagement and achievement.

This position is being offered in a Temporary part-time (0.2 FTE) capacity from 13 July 2026 - 11 December 2026 unless otherwise determined.

Located in the Brisbane Valley township of Toogoolawah and nestled in a beautiful rural and setting surrounded by native Australian flora and fauna.

About the Role:
 
In the role of Head of Department - Student Engagement (Head of Year 11 and 12 - 0.2 FTE), you will: 
  • Lead and manage Year 11 and 12 student attendance, engagement and various year level activities
  • Lead and manage Year 11 and 12 Level 1 and 2 reqards systems
  • Be an integral member of the school's student welbeing team
  • Further strengthen connections with families and community.
