Miles State High School is rural school that boast impressive facilities, approximately 210km west of Toowoomba and 330km west of Brisbane.

Step Into Your Next Chapter:
The successful applicant will work closely with the Principal and Deputy Principal to support the strategic direction of the school while fostering a positive and inclusive culture for students, staff and the broader community across Years 7-12.
Importantly, this role will serve as a key instructional leader within the school, ensuring high quality curriculum, supporting expert teaching practices, evidence-informed pedagogy and the ongoing development of staff capability
Responsibilities include:
- Assist the Principal to lead the school community to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
- Deputise for the Principal when required.
- Uphold the deputy principalship as a values based, ethical and moral activity.
- Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
