Charleville School of Distance Education is seeking an outstanding Deputy Principal to join our leadership team.
This position is suited to a highly effective instructional and relational leader who is passionate about improving student outcomes through high-quality teaching, evidence-informed practice and strong professional relationships.
Working closely with the Principal, the Deputy Principal will lead school improvement initiatives, support staff capability development and contribute to the strategic direction of a growing and innovative distance education school.

The successful applicant will demonstrate a strong understanding of effective pedagogy, curriculum implementation, assessment and moderation practices, and the use of student data to drive continuous improvement.
- They will be committed to developing teacher capability through coaching, professional learning, collaborative planning and instructional leadership.
- As a key member of the leadership team, the Deputy Principal will foster a positive and inclusive school culture, building productive relationships with students, staff, parents, home tutors, community partners and external agencies. Strong interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders are essential.
- The role also requires exceptional organisational and communication skills.
- The Deputy Principal leads a range of whole-school operational functions including timetabling, student enrolment processes, staff induction, attendance management, academic reporting, major school events and strategic planning.
- The ability to manage competing priorities, maintain attention to detail and ensure high-quality outcomes across multiple areas of responsibility is critical.
