The Agencies ICT Transition (AICTT) program of work has been established to deliver unique ICT business integration projects within eHealth Queensland (eHQ).

Current program of work:

  • Transitioning of Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) ICT services away from Queensland Police Service (QPS) into eHQ.
  • Transitioning of Forensic Science Queensland (FSQ) ICT services away from eHQ into the Department of Justice (DOJ).

This Program of Work will require engagement across multiple agencies namely eHealth Queensland, Queensland Police Service, Queensland Ambulance Service, Forensic Science Queensland and the Department of Justice.

The role:  

With a focus on technical governance, network design and implementation, this role will be required to oversee and manage a team of specialist technical resources ensuring technical solutions of a high quality are provided, aligning with best practice IM/ICT design and delivery frameworks. The role will:

  • Build strong, collaborative stakeholder relationships across different government agencies, ensuring technical deliverables are achieved in line with approved project plans.
  • Lead the design and implementation of a statewide network, including input to the development of multi-agency support models and incident response processes.
  • Lead the delivery of a complex ICT transition program of work, including the transition of ICT systems and resources between government agencies.
  • Oversee and manage a team of specialist technical resources ensuring technical solutions implement systems, design standards, methods and tools that are consistent with agreed enterprise and solution architectures and ensure effective application.
  • lead the assessment, analysis, development, publication, implementation and compliance of technical deliverables and IM/ICT changes at an enterprise level, including the evaluation of risk to the integrity of infrastructure inherent in proposed implementations in collaboration with stakeholders and other specialist teams.
  • Report to the Program Director on technical team delivery against project and program milestones, trends, risks, issues and KPIs.

Are you right for this role?

To be successful in this role, you will have a demonstrated ability to lead the design, publication, implementation, compliance, and delivery of Enterprise technical solutions/ ICT changes to industry best practice frameworks for large scale IM/ICT infrastructure delivery projects, preferably in the health care industry.

You will be confident in providing high level technical advice on design standards, techniques, methods and tools, as well as assessing and evaluating technical requirements. Crucially, you will bring a positive and proactive approach to work and be able to work effectively and collaboratively within a high performing team. Your well-developed problem-solving, interpersonal and communication skills will allow you to effectively negotiate, advise, influence, and consult with stakeholders to guide project delivery.
