Key Responsibilities
- Follow defined service quality standards, occupational health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken in order to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces.
- Set technical directions for the use of middleware and other integration type technology to be used across enterprise systems and infrastructure within Queensland Health
- Provide technical directions to Project Teams in the design, development, implementation and maintenance of interfaces between application systems (both enterprise and local systems) to ensure consistency with Queensland Health's systems integration and interfacing standards and practices and the Software Lifecycle procedures
- Design and implement the continuous quality improvement of policies, procedures, practices and tools within the Systems Integration and Interfacing environment of Queensland Health
How you will be assessed
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate business and applications systems issues into interface requirements. Ability to develop a product that meets these requirements in a structured environment (SFIA Code: SINT 5)
- Understanding and commitment to Queensland Health's core values of quality and recognition, professionalism, teamwork and performance accountability (NHS: Personal Integrity)
- Demonstrated ability to manage staff in line with contemporary human resource management policies, procedures and practices including employment equity. anti-discrimination, occupational health and safety and ethical behaviour (NHS: Empowering Others)
