Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the conduct of Cyber Security Risk assessments on new threats and vulnerabilities through the provision of comprehensive subject matter analysis, advice, and support of complex ICT systems within a healthcare setting. This includes presenting findings and treatment options to customers.
  • Assist with the provision of high-level Information Security advice and consulting services on Information Communications Technology network and infrastructure matters and secure design review.
  • Undertake risk assessment on a day-to-day basis and manage risk advisory operational ticket flows. Respond to customer enquiries while building customer-facing risk pattern libraries, FAQ to drive secure by design principles within the organisation.

How you will be assessed

  • Demonstrated experience in working on Cyber Security risk assessments of complex ICT systems and infrastructure in large geographically dispersed service delivery organisation.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the major trends, strategic directions and legislative and governance frameworks related to information security, with the capacity to successfully adopt them in the healthcare environment.
  • Well-developed research, analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills including the proven capacity to initiate appropriate strategic and operational responses to key issues affecting the enterprise

Specific Working Conditions

  • While not mandatory, any relevant qualification in Information Security or Cyber Security would be highly regarded including any previous experience in senior ICT operations and/or operational security roles relating to the performing of Cyber Security Risk advice and assessments.
  • This position may be required to work at different Queensland Health sites.
  • This role is office based in Fortitude Valley.
