• FlexiSpace Teacher -Year 7 - 10 (Teaching Primary level)

Primary school experience in primary sector levels is preferred.  Trauma informed practice training and experience ideal.

The focus of the Flexispace classroom is to provide targeted learning experiences to engage students to improve outcomes in reading comprehension, student behaviour and attendance. The Flexispace Teacher needs to have strong interpersonal skills and capacity to build effective relationships with students, parents and staff. The candidate should have a deep understanding of the Q-12 CARF and Australian Curriculum V9 to be able to deliver cross curricular learning experiences for students across core subjects English, Maths, Humanities and Science. The capacity to develop and deliver social and emotional programs to students with authenticity is essential.

• Current full registration or current provisional registration with eligibility for full registration, as a teacher in Queensland. • Employment for pre-service/graduate teachers will be subject to the successful completion of a relevant teaching qualification and meeting the minimum requirements as a teacher with the department.
