About the Role
As a Head of Department - VET and Special Programs, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Managing the operations, teaching and learning of SchoolTech at the Cairns TAFE for year 12 students in 2025;
- Taking on the role of RTO manager for the school;
- Developing innovated programs to improve student pathways;
- Demonstrating strong interpersonal skills and capacity to sustain productive relationships within and beyond the school community;
- Being proactive, innovative and ability to use strategic thinking and analytical skills to contribute to educational outcomes at a school level, whilst ensuring legislative requirements are met will also be necessary.
