Your Role
As the Business Manager - Human Resources, you will support the College's Business Manager by coordinating and delivering high-quality human resource services. You will play a key role in maintaining effective workforce operations, overseeing support staff HR functions, and ensuring compliance with Department of Education policies and legislative requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Oversee recruitment, induction, and training of school support staff.
- Provide operational support and advice on a diverse range of human resource matters including pay, leave, contracts, and entitlements.
- Manage staff attendance, rosters, ADO and timesheet systems for school support staff.
- Monitor and enhance local HR systems and workflows to drive continuous improvement.
- Supervise and support administrative staff in collaboration with the College leadership team.
- Maintain productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Contribute to workforce capability planning and performance development.
- Ensure all HR practices are consistent with Departmental standards and government legislation.
About You
Our ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Demonstrated experience in HR operations, preferably in a school or public sector environment
- Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills
