Your Responsibilities 

As the Deputy Principal (Special Education), your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:  

  • Leading the Special Education Program to improve educational outcomes for students with disability.
  • Supporting the Principal in delivering the school's educational vision and deputising when required.
  • Embedding socially just practices and fostering a culture of inclusion and high expectations.
  • Building and sustaining positive partnerships with parents, agencies, and community stakeholders.
  • Leading curriculum, teaching, and learning innovations that promote quality outcomes for all students.
  • Managing the human, financial, and physical resources of the SEP to achieve organisational goals.

  • Proven leadership in special education with a strong focus on student achievement and inclusion.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills to build strong, collaborative relationships across the school and community.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills to contribute to improved educational outcomes.
  • Experience managing resources effectively to deliver high-quality organisational results.
  • A personal and professional commitment to ethical, values-based leadership.
