Tropical North Learning Academy - Trinity Beach State School is a high performing primary school providing quality education and excellent outcomes for our students.

We operate as an Independent Public Secondary School and have a unique partnership through the Tropical North Learning Academy, with Smithfield State High School and James Cook University. This opportunity is for someone who enjoys the rewards of making positive impacts on the lives of young students.

Responsibilities include:

  • Monitor timesheets recording and signatories for support staff and teacher aides
  • Under the direction Principal/DP/Business Manager, organise and manage supply and contract placements for both teaching and support staff including Tracer bookings; entering approved leave; maintaining the schools leave schedule.
  • Provide a range of financial administrative activities including Accounts receivable and operations including data entry, assist in the management of payment plans and Centrepay.

  • Able to work collaboratively as part of a team and can build strong working relationships and rapport with a diverse range of people.
  • Strong interpersonal and “customer service” skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Strong computer skills
  • Displays confidentiality, tact, reliability and sensitivity to staff, students and families
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision to meet deadlines
  • Experience in OneSchool and IDAttend will be highly regarded.
