Mission Beach School is seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team.
This role plays an important part in supporting the daily operations of the school and ensuring high standards of health, safety and wellbeing for our students and staff.

This position is being offered in a Temporary Part-Time capacity (0.79FTE), 59.5 hours per fortnight.

This temporary vacancy is open to Expressions of Interest and any extensions to this appointment will not exceed 12 months.
Who We Are:
The school was originally built in 1953 in the ‘tropical jungle' in Mission Beach. In 1993 it was relocated to Wongaling Beach due to increasing student numbers.
Wongaling is the central part of the 14 kms of beach.
The school motto ‘pride and effort' embodies the attitude and expectations of the community, staff and students.

Step Into Your Next Chapter:
- Cleaning windows, pictures, doorknobs, taps, sinks, drinking fountains, lavatory basins, glassware, glass doors and cupboards.
- Cleaning and sanitising toilet facilities and sick bays.
- Cleaning and maintaining equipment.
- Cobweb and mildew control, utilising extendable equipment as necessary.
- Cleaning of concrete, bitumen, asphalt and paved surfaces.
