An opportunity exists for a temporary part-time (0.80FTE) Guidance Officer to join our dedicated team and play a vital role in supporting the educational, social, emotional and behavioural wellbeing of students.

As the Guidance Officer, you will work collaboratively with school leaders, teachers, families and external agencies to deliver a comprehensive student support program that promotes positive educational and lifelong learning outcomes. You will provide counselling, psychoeducational assessment, case management and evidence-based interventions, while supporting students to build resilience, overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.

This rewarding role also involves providing specialist advice to school staff, contributing to student protection, behaviour support and individual learning plans, and assisting students with educational, career and future pathway planning. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will help create inclusive learning environments where every student is supported to succeed.
