The Role
An opportunity has become available for a Media Officer to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
- Prepare media and other communication materials including media releases/responses
- Produce, shoot and edit videos and undertake photography at professional standard
- Foster positive relationships with local journalists across all mediums
- Contribute to and maintain a pre-planned social media calendar
About you
To be successful in this position you will require:
- Track record in proactive and reactive media relations and social media management
- While not mandatory, a relevant qualification would be well regarded
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
- Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

- Base salary ranging from $105 568 - $114 861 per annum
