This role provides advanced mental health social work services within Head to Health Kids-Queensland. Clinical work undertaken will be of a complex and varied nature, and duties will be performed with a high degree of independence. Palm Beach, Southport, Coomera, Helensvale and other Community sites across the Gold Coast.

The Role
An opportunity has become available for a Social Worker - Senior (Head to Health Kids) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
- Deliver high level clinical social work services including triage, assessment, treatment interventions and case management
- Liaise with consumers and their families, other health professionals, supervisors, students and researchers
- Contribute to the development of clinical practices, procedures, and protocols
- Lead and provide clinical practice supervision to less experienced mental health practitioners
About you
To be successful in this position you will require:
- A tertiary degree in Social Work
- Eligible for membership to the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
- Driver licence
- Blue card / Working with children check (GCH will cover cost)
- Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
- Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
- Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Salary
- Permanent part time (64 hrs p.f)
- Base salary ranging from $64.64 - $69.55 per hour
