The Role
An opportunity has become available for an Occupational Therapist - Senior (Hand Therapy) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
- Deliver high level Occupational Therapy clinical services including assessment, intervention and evaluation within a multidisciplinary team
- Apply professional judgement to a complex caseload adapting routine clinical practice based on valid and reliable evidence
- Provide clinical practice supervision to Occupational Therapists, support staff and students
- Lead the monitoring and reporting of clinical practices and outcomes
About you
To be successful in this position you will require:
- Tertiary degree in Occupational Therapy
- AHPRA Registration
- While not mandatory, a relevant qualification/s in Hand Therapy including Certified Hand Therapy and/or Accredited Hand Therapy credential/s would be highly desirable
- Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
- Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
- Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

- Permanent full time
- Base salary ranging from $128 169 - $137 918 per annum
