The Role

An opportunity has become available for a Radiographer – Senior to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.

 You will

• Perform General Radiography duties demonstrating an advanced level of professional practice
• Supervise, mentor and assist in the professional development of junior clinicians within the service
• Liaise with relevant service managers as required to professionally lead imaging services at Tugun Satellite Health Centre
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of clinical practices within the Tugun Satellite Health Centre

 About you

To be successful in this position you will require:

• Possession of a tertiary degree in Medical Imaging Technology (Diagnostic Radiography)
• AHPRA Registration
• Use Licence for Diagnostic Imaging issued by Radiation Health, Queensland.
• Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
• Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
• Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
• Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

 Salary

• Permanent full time or permanent part time (one full time position or several part time positions, hrs negotiable)
• Base salary ranging from $128 169 - $137 918 per annum or $64.64 - $69.55 per hour

The Medical Imaging Service delivers a wide range of diagnostic imaging and interventional services across the Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service. The service provides a Level 6 Medical Imaging service at Southport (Gold Coast University Hospital), a Level 4 service at Robina Hospital and services at Varsity Lakes Day Hospital and Tugun Satellite Health Centre.
