The Role
An opportunity has become available for a Client Services Librarian to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
- Support daily library operations and contribute to service planning and evaluation
- Assist in developing strategies and policies for research and liaison services
- Manage and update the Collection Development Policy to meet user needs
- Oversee collection processes including acquisition, cataloguing, and resource management
About you
To be successful in this position you will require:
- Tertiary degree in Library and Information Studies
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
- Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Salary
- Temporary full time (up to 6 months with possibility of extension)
- Base salary ranging from $3 964.20 - $4 335.40 per fortnight
