The Role
An opportunity has become available for two Neurophysiology Scientist - Senior to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
- Deliver senior grade Clinical Neurophysiology investigations within a multi-disciplinary team
- Contribute to clinical research activities with the neurodiagnostic work unit
- Apply professional judgement to a complex caseload
- Provide clinical practice supervision and contribute to clinical education
About you
To be successful in this position you will require:
- Tertiary degree in applied science (or equivalent) with a strong component of human anatomy and physiology is a requirement of this role
- AHPRA Registration
- Blue Card (GCH will cover cost)
- Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
- Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
- Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Salary
- Permanent full time and part time (minimum 30.4hrs p.f)
- Base salary ranging from $128 169 - $137 918 per annum, $64.64 - $69.55 per hour

Neurodiagnostic Services is part of the Neurology under medicine. Neurodiagnostic Services is made up of a small team of Neurophysiology Scientist, Senior Medical Officers and Administrative Officers and is based at Gold Coast University Hospital and Robina Hospital.
