The Role
An opportunity has become available for a Nurse Manager (Business Planning Framework) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
- Monitor, analyse and report on nursing and midwifery performance and productivity
- Maintain integrity of department databases including manipulation, quality and reporting of clinical data
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Provide education via different modalities to support the Nursing & Midwifery Workforce Team.
About you
To be successful in this position you will require:
- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent
- Registration with the Nursing Midwifery Board of Australia
- Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
- Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required

- Base salary ranging from $132 562 - $143 924 per annum

The Nursing and Midwifery Workforce Team are responsible for developing and assisting with implementation and monitoring of local Nursing and Midwifery Resource management practices, processes and tools in alignment with both the Business Planning Framework and Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service (GCHHS) workforce priorities.
Despite operationally being located in Nursing Midwifery Patient Experience (NMPE) the Nursing and Midwifery Workforce Team service spand across all areas of inpatient and community services of the Hospital and Health Service (HHS).
