The Role
An opportunity has become available for a Project Officer (Mental Health and Specialist Services) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
- Provide quality advice to Mental Health and Specialist Services Senior Leadership Team, Senior Management, and other stakeholders on project delivery, including approaches to ensure the successful delivery of service planning and a sustainable healthcare service delivery environment
- Deliver change management, project management, and project support services, providing advice, communication, and engagement activities and support to service delivery projects
- Assist in the development of project business cases, project plans, progress reports, monthly management reports and closure reports to ensure all stakeholders are fully briefed on project objectives, milestones and impacts, tasks, and progress, including the identification and documentation of project risks and issues
- Consult with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders to support the delivery of initiatives, coordinating priorities within tight timeframes, resolving issues and providing services to ensure outcomes are achieved within a constantly changing business environment
About you
To be successful in this position you will require:
- Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
- Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
- Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

- Permanent full time
- Base salary ranging from $105 568 - $114 861 per annum

Gold Coast Health's Mental Health and Specialist Services Division provides public mental health and alcohol and other drugs services, as well as specialist programs across the Gold Coast. Clinical and non-clinical staff are distributed across six service lines and numerous enabling teams.
The Partnerships and Business Operations unit facilitates transformation and project delivery services, with a strong focus on collaboration between internal and external stakeholders.
